Comments:    Well, to start this is the 2nd car/truck that I have had that was in the scene. First was my ‘95 S-10 that has now died and passed on to a new owner (the owner of STREET BEAT). But anyways, I bought this new beauty from P.B.’s wife, Kim, which had already gone through it’s normal changes. They had put on some Eibach SPORTLINE springs, Tokico Premium Performance shocks, and a set of 17" ROH ASTRON wheels with 205/40 ZR17 SUMITOMO HTRZ II tires (all thanks to Group A, Inc. - 480-813-4776). It also had an intake and exhaust. Of course when you get a ride that has already had things done, you really want to change things so you don’t get that typical mini-truckin' crap of it being a TV-DINNER. Well the first thing to go were the wheels. Again, Group A was turned to for that help. I put on a new set of 17x7 ROH Talon wheels (soon to be chromed) and 215/40 ZR17 YOKOHAMA Parada tires, also I wanted to make the family wagon handle like a sportbike, so I replaced the Tokico Premium Performance shocks, with the 5-way adjustable Illuminas, and I changed the Eibach SPORTLINES to the Eibach Road Race kit. I gotta thank Jeff at Group A for the hook-up. Then was the 126,000 mile tune-up that was all performed by SRD (Superior Racing Development - 480-317-0090). They also installed a DC Sports header, sold me front and rear strut tower braces and fixed a broken side window. Next in the works was the stereo, which I installed myself. I have a PANASONIC G-tech anti-skip deck, PPI EPX-205 crossover, (4) 6" Crunch mids, a set of Memphis 1" tweeters, and a set of Pioneer 4x6 plates, powered by a Memphis CA 300A, and for the BASS I have (3) 15" KEF subs also powered by a Memphis 16-1000D, it is a 1100 watt class D amp (I used to have (6) woofers and (2) 1100 watt amps, but it wasn't much louder in a isobaric configuration than the (3), so I took them out). To help regulate the power supply I have (1) red top and (1) yellow top Optima battery, plus a 1 farad cap. All stereo equipment was purchased from Kevin at Mobile Audio (480-545-5087). Now after the custom installation of the stereo it was time to turn to the outside for body upgrades. I installed a Wings West "Big Mouth" front  bumper, and a Wings West rear hatch wing. They were painted along with the stock side skirts by Sean Yeager at Concept AUTOWORKS - 480-967- 3942. Also in time he will be doing a custom flame paint job. In the future I plan to do upgrades to the motor like an AEM cold-air intake, MSD ignition, maybe a 50 shot of NOS, and possibly a JDM H22 conversion, and a 5-speed conversion (need to make the family wagon a little faster). There will be more done in time so I will keep you posted.
